WHEN DO THE VEGGIE BOXES BEGIN?


In 2021, we plan to start June 1st. This will continue for 22 weekly deliveries.


SHOULD I GET A STANDARD OR LARGE BOX?


If you are new to CSA, we recommend getting the standard size box. The majority of our customers use this size. If you know you consume a LOT of vegetables or you like to store things away for the winter, then choose the large box.  Once we sell out of regular full-season memberships, we may offer a limited number of 4-week “Try it out” memberships, where you can try out the experience with 4 weeks of scheduled boxes. This program would not start until later in August/September.


DO I GET TO PICK OUT WHAT I WANT EACH WEEK FOR MY BOX?


Yes! You will receive an email 48-72 hrs prior to the customization deadline with what your box includes for the week.  You will receive and additional email reminder prior to the customization deadline to confirm your changes.  Don’t worry if you don’t submit changes for the week you will receive the ‘default’ csa box.


WHAT IS GOING TO BE IN MY BOX EACH WEEK?

This is not 100% accurate since we can’t “force” Mother Nature to have exactly what we want on a set date. But it gives you a rough idea of when certain veggies are in season, and how often we hope to give you them.


IS EVERYTHING IN MY VEGGIE BOX CERTIFIED ORGANIC?


All contents included in your weekly CSA box are grown to the National Organic Practice (NOP) standard.  Camron Ridge Farmstead has not received a certification yet.  We are currently considered by the USDA as a transitional organic farm.  We are in the process of working towards our certification.

WHAT IF I GO ON VACATION AND HAVE TO MISS MY BOX PICK-UP? CAN I SWITCH MY PICK UP DATE TO EARLIER IN THE WEEK? WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS MY BOX? CAN I GET IT LATER?

Yes. If you are going to be on vacation, you can place a ‘hold’ or switch your pick up site. These functions will be available in your member dashboard for your CSA subscription.  If there are any questions please reach out to us and we will get you what you need.

HOW ARE YOU KEEPING ME SAFE DURING COVID19? 

Your safety and the safety of our crew is of paramount importance. Our harvesters and packers are temperature checked before they begin working. All our crew are required to wear masks during harvest, packing, and pickup/delivery. We ask our customers to wear a mask when they pickup their share each week.

CAN I SEND SOMEONE ELSE TO PICK UP MY BOX IF I CAN’T BE THERE?

Yes! If you cannot pick up your share yourself, simply send a substitute! All they have to do is give us your name.  Just have them bring some bags to transfer the produce into.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We offer a money-back guarantee. If you are for any reason dissatisfied with your membership and wish to cancel, or if you have to move out of the area and cannot continue your share, please communicate this as early as you can.  We will arrange a refund on a pro-rated basis.

HOW DO I PAY?

Options are Full payment or we ask you to pay a deposit of 50% down once you sign up. If paying by check, it should be sent within 5 days after sign up to hold your share. The remaining balance can be paid online or sent to us before July 1st. You can send us both checks — pro-rated for the date you want us to cash them. You can also pay via cash or debit/credit. If you need to break up your payments into more disbursements, we can work with you. Contact us to set up a payment plan.

DO YOU TAKE CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS FOR THE VEGGIE BOXES?

Regular full-season memberships are paid for via check, debit/credit, or cash.

WHERE TO SEND YOUR PAYMENT

If you are paying by check: Mail your check (made out to Camron Ridge Farmstead) to 406 6th AVE SW, Albany Oregon 97321.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT’S IN MY BOX EACH WEEK?

Approximately 5 days prior to pickup we will email you the contents of your box for that week, along with your newsletter. You will then have 48-72 hrs to make any changes/modifications to your weekly delivery. This list will include reminders about where to store each veggie, common uses for that veggie, and whether you can freeze it.
